Discover the most ancient area of the island on this most stunning of tours! Riding from one part of the Atlantic Ocean to the other, we´ll start at Playa Teresitas near the capital, Santa Cruz. From here we´ll climb over 1000 metres before rolling down through the spectacular Mercedes Forest where we´ll enjoy views of the north and south of the island. The tour culminates with a fantastic downhill to the hidden coastal village of Taganana where we´ll enjoy a typical Canarian lunch.

It is important for riders to ride at their own speed when cycling in mountainious Tenerife! During the ride we will assess the level of the riders and stronger riders will have the chance to go faster and further, whilst the other riders will go slower and cover less distance. This format allows us to regroup at lunch together and return to base at our target time.
Level 1 (Amateur/Intermediate)
• Distance: 45-55 kilometres
• Climbing meters: 1300-1500 metres
• Tour Rating Physical 2/3 Technical: 2/3
Level 2 (Advanced/Pro)
• Distance: 60-80 kilometres
• Climbing meters: 1800-2400 metres
• Tour Rating: Physical 2/3 Technical: 2/3
