All-inclusive Surf Lesson in Rabat Morocco

Always dreamed of surfing? How about surfing in Africa? You can! By the end of this 2 hour lesson, you will have mastered the basic techniques of paddling out, catching a wave, and standing up on the surfboard. Rabat beach, on the Atlantic Ocean, has the ideal conditions - small and gentle waves - for beginner and aspiring surfers. Plus, you will have beautiful views of an ancient Moorish fortress from the water. All equipment, including surfboard, leash and wetsuit, is included in the lesson, in addition to after-surf tea and cookies. An experienced instructor will guide you through the process from start to finish. English, French and Arabic instruction available. Don't miss out on the opportunity to tell people you learned how to surf in Africa! Your lesson begins at our surf shop inside the historic Kasbah des Oudayas, where you will be sized for your wetsuit and surfboard. Once you have put on your wetsuit using our private changing room, it is only a quick 5 minute walk down to Rabat beach. All lessons will begin with a 10 minute warm-up, including running and stretching. Your instructor will show you the basic techniques in the sand before you try out the waves. When you feel ready, its time to get in the water! Your instructor will stay with you for the remaining 2 hours to provide feedback & tips, and help you do the take-off on the board. Your surf session will conclude with a refreshing traditional Moroccan tea and cookies on the beach. A changing and shower facility will be provided back at the shop. Beginner to Advanced levels welcome, year round!
