From here we will take the Southern Highway through the village until the Alerce Andino National Park. This is a beautiful tour, where you can admire mountain chains crossing through the fields worked by the Germans descendents until we get to Alerce Andino National Park which is located at the Reloncaví Estuary, a mountain zone in the south side of Chapó Lake.
The Park has a surface of 39.255 hectares; here is altogether a great variety of vegetation, an ever green forest of trees like, Mañío, Coigue, Lenga, Canelo, Tepa and the Native Forest of Alerce.
Among the abundant fauna here lives the Venado Chileno, Puma and the Pudú, also lives birds like Cóndor, Carpintero Negro, Peuco, Martin Pescador, etc.
