120 km away from Dubai Alain is also called and considered the green city of Emirates.With its pure air and tranquility along with wide boulevards is definitely going to be a unique tour to be experienced.A long drive from the city of Dubai to Al-ain you will be seeing the great dessert surrounding the city towards the Hajar Mountains, it’s a perfect time to sit back and relax while your guide explains about your day’s activities.
After a drive of around an hour and half you will reach Al-ain the Green city of UAE, also known as the city of Gardens, it’s a great pleasure to see the town in desert with lots of greenery around. Al-ain is the birth place of the ruler Sheik Zayed with his patronage and efforts Al-ain became the Green city of U.A.E. The first stop will be at Sheik Zayed palace Museum where you can experience how the humble ruler lived in the past and spent his life.
The next stop will be Al Jahili fort, the picturesque Al Jahili Fort is one of the UAE’s most historic buildings. It was erected in 1891 to defend the city and protect precious palm groves. An Al Ain landmark, the fort has been carefully restored and now houses a permanent exhibition of the work of British adventurer Sir Wilfred
Continue to Camel Market of Al-ain, this is the last souk of its kind in the UAE, it’s an excellent opportunity to see camels up close and see and hear traders discussing the price and merits of their animals. There are some excellent photo opportunities, but be careful where you point your lens and always ask permission first.
People will try to sell you a tour around the pens, but feel free to walk around on your own. In the livestock section, watch locals arrive in pickups laden with goats and sheep, ready to do some hard bargaining.
After a lunch break ( at your own expenses) You will be driven to Al Hili Archaeological park which is situated about 12km from Al-ain city, the place is the treasure of country’s Bronze metal, you can explore the Al Hili tombs, The tombs of Al Hili settlement were used for collective burials over centuries and their funerary goods give valuable evidence of life in the oasis.
You tour will be ending by evening around 5pm to drive you back from Al-ain to Dubai.
