At 9:30am, you will be departing from your hotel towards Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, famous for its mesh, which was constructed in year 1573. The monument has gained worldwide recognition due to its splendor and is skillfully crafted, representing indo-saracenic styling. The construction lasted up to the last year of the Sultanate rule in Gujarat.
The next stop is Hathisingh Jain Temple, established in 1850 by Seth Hathisingh. The temple is made using white marble, which is decorated with tangled designed carvings. This is the most well-known Jain Temple in Ahmedabad and is a double-storied building comprising 52 shrines.
Around 12:30pm, drive to Gandhi Ashramis, also known as Sabarmati Ashram – the house where Mahatma Gandhi stayed for 13 years and where the historic Dandi march began. During your visit, learn about early Gandhi lifestyle.
You will stop for lunch for about an hour, and at 3pm, head towards Sarkhej Roza, which comprises one of the most elegant and distinguished architectural complexes of Ahmadabad.
