Your tour begins at one of the famous Hanbok Costume shops either in Insadong or Myeongdong (depends on your tour schedule). Find yourself in a beautiful Hanbok and transport yourself to ancient Korea. While wearing your Hanbok, you will visit Changdeok Palace, the second palace built in Korea and the primary residence of Kings of Joeseon Dynasty. Inside the palace, you will find a secret garden and Nakseonjae, a building constructed under the King's request for his one love.
After, head to Bukchon Hanok Village, a residential area that features hundreds of hanok houses, traditional houses that were built back in the Joseon Dynasty. Travel back in time, appreciate the well-preserved Korean architecture and don't forget to take a photo before heading back to the modern world.
You will head then head to Myeongdong, an area world-famous for shopping. Find street vendors selling clothing, accessories and a variety of street food, such as Korean dumplings, Dakkochi (Korean skewered chicken), strawberry mochi and many other treats. Try your hand at bargaining by saying "Ggak-a juseyo" which means "Can I get a discount?".
Finally, visit the Korea Duty Free Shop where you will find good quality products at a reasonable price. This is a great place to buy Korean cosmetic products such as face masks and hair recovery essence, two very popular products among locals.
Your tour ends with a drop-off at your hotel in Seoul.
Please note
On Mondays, Changdeok Palace is closed so it will be replaced by Gyeongbok Palace
