This adventurous small-group hiking tour takes you on Juneau's West Glacier trail. You move through lush temperate rainforest and up to a lookout point over Mendenhall Glacier and the mountains beyond. The trail can be tricky, but your guide will be there every step of the way to teach you tips for adventuring in Alaska and back at home. You are a step apart from the rest. It takes a certain kind of person to leave the crowd and get out into the woods. Whether you have hiked all your life, done some long treks here and there, or you are just starting out, your guide will take you out to find your stride in the last frontier.

From Mt Roberts Tramway, your guide will take you to the West Glacier trail head on board Raven the adventure bus to begin discovering the dense, lush rainforest around Juneau. Challenge yourself as you cover rough terrain, getting helpful hiking tips and hearing stories from your guide along the way. Stop periodically to rest, have water and snacks, and soak up the scenery.

Reach a lookout point to capture views of famous Mendenhall Glacier against the backdrop of Juneau's mountains. The views pay off all that hard trekking!

Hike back down to the trail head and relax on the bus. It is now time to digest the day and tell stories of our adventure.
