Started in Africa, these flamboyant coffin designs are collected and exposed in museums.
On the way to downtown we will cross the Black Star Square, and we will see the Independence Arc, celebrating Ghana as First independent country in Sub-Saharian Africa

We end our city tour exploring the old quarter of James Town, inhabited by the autochthonous population known as the Ga, devoted to fishing. From an old Portuguese trade house we will have an astonishing view over the Accra harbor, totally full of fishing boats
Last shopping at the Art Center known for the Kente & Adinkra cloth (Ashanti hand made traditional textiles). You can find also cloth called batik and colorful “wax”
