Destinations : Chennai – Mamallapuram – Pondicherry – Tanjore - Trichy – Madurai – Rameshwaram – Madurai. Day 1 : Chennai
Upon arrival at Chennai Airport/Railway Station you will be met by our representative and transferred to your Hotel in Chennai. You will enjoy the afternoon sightseeing in Chennai. You will visit the Kapaleeshwar Temple, Santhome Cathedral, Parthsarthy Temple, Marina Beach and the National Art Gallery. You will then be taken back to your hotel in Chennai.
Day 2 : Chennai – Mahabalipuram (34 miles – 1-hour drive)
After breakfast, check out of your hotel in Chennai and we will proceed to Mahabalipuram. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel in Mahabalipuram. In the afternoon, you will enjoy sightseeing in Mahabalipuram. You will visit Shore Temple, Five Ratha’s, Crocodile Bank, Arjuna’s Penance and Tiger Caves before heading back to the hotel.
Day 3 : Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry (102 miles – 4-hour drive)
After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Mahabalipuram and we will proceed to Pondicherry. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel. This is a day that you will be able to spend doing whatever you want to do. Spend the day doing things at your own leisure.
Day 4 : Pondicherry
After breakfast, you will enjoy sightseeing in Pondicherry. You will visit Shri Aurobindo Ashram, Auroville, Arikamedu, Pondicherry Beach, The Botanical Garden and Bharati Park before heading back to the hotel for the evening.
Day 5 : Pondicherry – Tanjore (109 miles – 4-hour drive)
After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Pondicherry and we will drive to Tanjore. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel. You will then enjoy the afternoon sightseeing in Tanjore. You will visit Brihadeeswara Temple, The Palace, Art Gallery and Saraswati Mahal Library.
Day 6 : Tanjore – Trichy
After breakfast, you will enjoy an excursion to Trichy, and visit Rock Fort Temple, Tiruvanaikkaval Temple, Elakurichi and Vayaloor. After a long day, relax on an evening drive back to your hotel in Tanjore.
Day 7 : Trichy – Madurai (84 miles – 4-hour drive)
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Madurai. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel. Enjoy the afternoon sightseeing in Madurai. You will visit Sri.Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple, Thirumalai Nayak Palace, Thirupparankundram Temple, Alagar Koil and Gandhi Museum.
Day 8 : Madurai – Rameshwaram (109 miles – 4-hour drive)
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and continue your journey to Rameshwaram. Upon arrival you will check into you hotel in Rameshwaram. You will then enjoy sightseeing in Rameshwaram visiting Ramanathaswamy Temple, Agnitheertham, Ramjharoka Temple, Dhanushkodi and Adam’s Bridge.
Day 9 : Rameshwaram – Madurai (109 miles – 4-hour drive)
After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Rameshwaram and enjoy the scenic drive to Madurai Airport/Railway Station, ending in Madurai.
