Overnight in Roundstone. Enjoying our first evening meal together, with general chat about the coming week’s hikes.

Day 2
Walk Errisbeg Mountain/Dogs Bay Beach overlooking the famous Roundstone Bog and the musical village of Roundstone. Walk Details – Distance: 14kms. Height gain: 350mts.

Day 3
Travel to Rossaveel to catch the Ferry to Inishmore, the largest of the Aran Islands. Hike to Dún Dúchathair, a spectacular cliff-top stone fort on the southern Atlantic coast of Inishmore. Walk Details – Distance: 8-10kms. Height gain: 80mts.

Day 4
Hike westwards along the spine of Inishmore. Visit the enigmatic rectangular pool known as Poll na bPéist or the Worm Hole, continue along the cliff-top to Dún Aonghusa, Ireland’s most famous stone fort. Return to Kilronan along the north coast, visiting Port Mhuirbhigh beach and the church of Teampall Chiaráin. Walk Details – Distance: 18kms. Height gain: 180mts.

Transfer from Inishmore to Inishmean hiking around the island. Walk Details – Distance: 15kms. Height gain: 180mts.

Ferry from Inishmor to Doolin. Hike along the Cliffs of Moher to Hag’s Head. Walk Details – Distance: 8kms. Height gain: 180mts.

Hike over Gleninagh Mountain exploring stone forts then descend to Black Head. Walk Details – Distance: 16kms. Height gain: 380mts.
