Prague, Czech Republic
Trip Type: Multi-day Tours
Duration: 8 days
Enjoy a fascinating ride between two of Europe's great cities in an 8-day bike tour. Prague and Vienna are central Europe's foremost exponents of style and elegance. This rewarding multi-day tour allows you to link them and see some fine countryside and wonderful towns, preserved with great care.
See the Czech-Austrian border area of south Bohemia and Moravia, a land of rolling countryside, pristine forest and beautiful small lakes and ponds. Castles abound as testament to former struggles among nobles and royal families. In more recent times this was "frontier" territory, and some areas where forbidden even to native Czechs before the Iron Curtain was swept aside by "velvet revolution" in 1989.
