Welcome to Bucharest, that we can associate with the life and legend of Dracula.

Day 2
We’ll start our tour with the Royal Court of Targoviste, seat of the region formerly known as Wallachia. In the heart of the scenic Carpathians, on top of a mountain, lies Poenari fortress erected during the reign of Vlad Tepes. In order to reach it we’ll climb 1480 steps, the way up to the fortress you’ll learn about the way it was built.

Day 3
Continuing our journey into the heart of Transylvania, we’ll cross the Carpathians upwards. Next we’ll arrive in Sibiu and visit the largest outdoor museum in Europe: Astra Museum.

Day 4
On the fourth day, we set out for Hunedoara to see the Hunyadi Castle, a Gothic-Renaissance style castle. Legend has it that it was here that Vlad the Impaler was imprisoned, by order of Matei Corvin. He spent a lot of time locked up in the Knights Hall, one of the most interesting secular spaces in Transylvania, utilized as a courtroom. We then proceed to Alba Iulia, where we’ll visit the largest citadel in Romania, in the shape of as a six-pointed star surrounded by 12 km of defense walls.

Day 5
The Biertan fortified church recreates the bleak, gloomy atmosphere specific to Gothic architecture.
Next up we head off to charming Sighisoara, a city-fortress founded by German Transylvanian settlers back in medieval times. Vlad Dracula is supposed to have been born in this medieval settlement building called the Dragon House.

Day 6
The realm of Transylvania is enshrouded in mystery; its folklore abounds with stories about moroi - the Romanian word for revenants or vampires. These scenic regions have attracted the Prince of Wales, who is proud that his lineage goes back to Vlad Tepes.
Today’s attraction is the most legendary tourist destination in Romania: Bran Castle. If the name doesn’t ring any bells, how about Dracula's castle?

We return to Wallachia, a historically region previously ruled by Vlad Draculea and our path will lead to a beautiful area surrounded by the Carpathian Mountains: Sinaia resort.
We will visit Peles Castle, the former royal residence of the Romanian monarchs, built on the initiative of the first king of Romania, Carol 1st. Next stop is the Castle of Iulia Hasdeu, an awe-inspiring place associated with inexplicable phenomena.
Our last visit is Snagov Monastery, erected by Vlad Tepes on a small islet, in the middle of a lake.
