Your 7 day journey will cover 1100km of the rugged West Coast of Ireland. Our expert guides have handpicked the best the west has to offer for your Ultimate tour around Ireland.Travelling from Dublin, you will leave the crowds and noise behind and begin your journey along the Wild Atlantic Way. Your journey will cover 1,100 km of rugged Irish coastline from Westport to Dingle. You will take part in as many adventures and see all the iconic sights we can squeeze in along the way.
Day One
Depart Dublin in the morning and travel west to the heart of County Mayo: Westport. Climb the west’s most iconic mountain, Croagh Patrick, and learn about the man responsible for St. Patrick’s Day. Unwind with some local craft beers and excellent food in Westport Town. Experience “the craic” at a traditional Irish music session in Matt Molloy’s bar.
Day Two
Depart Westport for the wilds of Connemara. Take in the breathtaking views of the Inagh Valley en route to the Aran Island ferry en route to Rosaveal Pier. You will be picked up by our skipper from Charter Ireland Sailing. From there, you will have lunch on board the yacht and take a trip to the Island around Galway Bay. Arrive on rugged Inis Mór, the largest of the Aran Islands in glorious Galway Bay. Explore the island, meet the locals and learn some “Gaeilge”. Cycle to the stone fort Dún Aenghus, which lies 100m over the ocean. After a dinner and some night life on Inis Mór, you will return to the boat overnight and depart for Rosaveel the next morning after a hearty breakfast onboard.
Day Three
Depart Rossaveal Pier and leave Galway for County Clare. The Cliffs of Moher awaits, followed by rock climbing (own expense), surfing and SUPing in the Burren and Lahinch. Relax with fellow adventurers in the many surf cafés and bars in Lahinch town.
Day Four
Depart Lahinch and discover Dingle. Travel from Tralee to Dingle over the spectacular Conor Pass. Spend the afternoon sea kayaking to meet our famous dolphin, Fungie in Dingle Bay
Day Five
Depart Dingle and start your 179km Ring of Kerry Adventure. Take in a morning surf at Inch beach. It is one of the most beautiful ring roads in the world so you won’t mind if it takes you all day to do it! Eating is another highlight of the Ring of Kerry. A long lunch is a must but we will squeeze in some adventure activities along the way. Stay on Valentia Island.
Day Six
Depart Valentia and complete the Ring of Kerry. Visit Killarney National Park and travel back to Killarney town to savour your last night of your tour.
Day Seven
Depart Killarney for Dublin. Stop en route at the Rock of Cashel. Your guide will send you out armed with recommendations for Dublin City if you have a bit of time left in Ireland.
