Day 1: Pula - Rovinj (D)
Upon your arrival into Pula, you will be met by your driver-guide at the airport then make your way to Rovinj. After check-in at the hotel, the remainder of your day is free at leisure to explore Rovinj on your own or take advantage of the amenities provided by the hotel.
Day 2: Buje (B,L,D)
After breakfast, you will go to the medieval town of Buje, where you will visit 3 local wineries, tasting high-quality wines in each, and authentic, locally-produced lunch. Dinner will be at a local Istrian tavern on your way back to the hotel.
Day 3: West Istria (B,L,D)
After breakfast, you will visit west Istria. On this route lie 3 wineries, in which you will taste wine and the local gastronomy. Dinner is at a local tavern before returning to Rovinj.
Day 4: Pula (B,L,D)
Today you visit Pula, with its numerous Roman monuments, including the world-famous amphitheater, which you will see up close. You will savor lunch in one of the best seafood restaurants in Pula. After, a short boat ride will take you to the National Park Brijuni, where you will enjoy a scenic train ride through the park. A dinner stop will be made on the return to your hotel.
Day 5 Pazin (B,L,D)
The region of central Istria awaits you. Today's route route will take you to Pazin, the largest town in central Istria, and known for its old town which lies above a cliff. During the day, you will visit 3 wineries and enjoy numerous wine tastings. On the drive back to the hotel, you will stop for an authentic dinner.
Day 6: Truffles & Olive Oil (B,L,D)
After breakfast, you will visit one of the local truffle producers. Lunch will be served on the estate and provide a pleasurable way to experience some of the ways truffles are prepared locally. In the afternoon, you will visit an olive oil producer and see how the finest extra virgin olive oil is made. Dinner will be enjoyed on the return to the hotel and will be the perfect ending to the day.
Day 7: Bale - Fazana - Valbandon (B,L,D)
This day tour will bring you to the wineries and medieval towns of southern Istria. Visit the towns of Bale, Fažana and Valbandon and stop for tastings at 3 wineries along the way. Lunch will be enjoyed at a local tavern.
Day 8: Southern Istria - Pula
After breakfast and hotel check-out, your Istrian wine trail experience will end with a transfer to the airport based on the time of your departure.
