Day 1: Hotel Pickup - Pinnawala - Kandy
Pickup from selected cities (see Departure Point for details) and transfer Pinnawala to visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and Spice Garden on the way to Kandy. Upon arrival check in to a 2 star hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 2: Kandy
After breakfast visit a botanical garden and then start your Kandy city tour, visiting Tooth Temple and Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, a Buddhist temple located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of Buddha. Enjoy an evening cultural show and, after the excursion, you will be escorted back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Kandy - Nilaveli
After breakfast you will take a 4-hour drive from Kandy to Nilaveli. It is a coastal resort town located about 16 km (10 miles) northwest of Trincomalee. Upon arrival check in to a 2 star hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Nilaveli - Trincomalee - Nilaveli
After breakfast start your day with scuba diving followed by a visit to Kanniya hot water spring in Trincomalee and Koneswaram Temple that was built during the reign of the early Cholas and the Five Dravidians of the Early Pandyan Kingdom. In the evening, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Nilaveli - Dambulla
After breakfast proceed and check out from your hotel in Nilaveli to leave for Dambulla. Upon arrival check in to your 2 star hotel and relax for the rest of the day. Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6: Dambulla - Sigirya - Dambulla
Sigirya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the best preserved examples of ancient urban planning and the most visited historic site in Sri Lanka. Climb to the top of Sigirya rock followed by a village tour. In the evening, visit Dambulla Cave Temple and return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Dambulla.
Day 7: Dambulla - Airport in Colombo
After breakfast check out of the hotel and you will be transferred to the Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo for your onward journey.
