Day 1: Shanghai
Upon your arrival at Shanghai Airport, our guide will be waiting for you outside the customs and then transfer you to the hotel. Relax during the remainder of the day.
Overnight: Grand Mercure Shanghai Zhongya (4-star)
Day 2: Shanghai (B+L)
You will visit Shanghai Museum, the Yuyuan Garden and a silk shop this morning. An a la carte lunch (included) will be served at a popular local restaurant.
After lunch, visit the Bund, Nanjing Road and an ancient cultural street, Tianzifang.
Overnight: Grand Mercure Shanghai Zhongya (4-star)
Day 3: Shanghai - Beijing (B)
Morning is free and lunch is on your own. We will transfer you to the train station to take an express G train to Beijing. Upon arrival, we will pick you up at the train station and transfer you to the hotel.
Overnight: Holiday Inn Central Plaza Hotel (4-star)
Day 4: Beijing (B+L)
Visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City this morning. An a la carte lunch is served to taste the real Chinese food.
In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Heaven. The evening will be highlighted by an amazing Chinese Kung Fu Show.
Overnight: Holiday Inn Central Plaza Hotel (4-star)
Day 5: Beijing (B)
Visit the Badaling Great Wall and a jade factory in the morning.
Lunch is on your own arrangement. It may be the best that you have a big breakfast at the hotel and a light lunch, saving more time to focus on the Great Wall. Visit the Sacred Way. The whole day's sightseeing will come to an end after seeing the appearance of Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium) on the way to the urban area.

Day 6: Beijing (B+L)
Visit the Summer Palace and a pearl store. We will serve you an a la carte lunch at a fancy restaurant.
In the afternoon, following our guide to trace the old Beijing culture by walking through the original Hutong alleys. After that the group will head to the airport for the flight to Xian. If your flight takes off late in the afternoon, you can also follow the group to visit Hutong and go to the airport together for your departure flight. If you would like to go to the airport at an earlier time or go back to the hotel after lunch, the transfer fee for this part is on your own.
