6-Day Private Tour to Sinaia, Bran, Poiana Brasov and Targoviste from Bucharest

Breakfast. We will start with a city tour in Bucharest. You will visit the Parliament House which is the second largest building in the world, the old center, Triumph Arch, Cotroceni Palace – former royal residence and current residence of the President of Romania. Overnight in Bucharest.

Day 2:

Breakfast. Transfer to Brasov. On the way we will make a stop in Sinaia to visit Peles Castle – former royal residence, an architectural jewel, built at the initiative of the first King of Romania ( Carol I ) in 1875. After another 1h drive we arrive in Brasov ( Kronstadt), lovely medieval town. Here we visit the First Romanian School Museum – dating from 1583 and the old fortress walls. In the afternoon free time for walking along the pedestrian shopping streets of Brasov. In the evening transfer to Poiana Brasov mountain resort ( 1020m above sea level ) just 12 km from Brasov city center. Dinner and overnight

Day 3:

Breakfast. In this day we invite you to discover the most important tourist attractions of Transylvania. First we will stop to visit the Bear Sanctuary from Zarnesti. Here we will learn about the bears and about wildlife protection in general. The sight of bears climbing trees, playing in the water pools or just lazing in the meadows, gives you a far better understanding of the true nature of the animals than any concrete zoo could ever do.We invite you to discover the top three most beautiful of all.

Our second stop is Bran Castle also called Dracula’s Castle, it is situated in Bran village. Bran Castle got its fame from the novel Dracula, written by Bram Stoker and Dracula movie. After the visit of Bran Castle we will go to Rasnov city to visit the picturesque streets with medieval houses and the Fortress. Rasnov Fortress is one of the best preserved peasant fortress of Transylvania. This area is famous because here were filmed some scenes in 2003 for “Cold Mountain” movie. Dinner and overnight in Poiana Brasov.

Day 4:

Breakfast. Free time in Poiana Brasov. You have various possibilities of using the time, You can climb the mountain on foot or by cable car or you can spend a wonderful day relaxing at the spa - massage , sauna and swimming pool in this beautiful mountain landscape! Dinner and overnight.

Day 5:

Breakfast. Free time in Poiana Brasov. We recommend going down in the city today (Brasov) and walk through the old town, take the cable car to Mount Tampa, from there the view is breathtaking! The day must end with shopping! Dinner and overnight in Poiana Brasov

Day 6:

Breakfast. Transfer to Bucharest, on the way we will stop in Targoviste. In this day we visit the former royal residence from Targoviste where Vlad Tepes ruled .This is also the place where the battle from June 1462 took place between Vlad Tepes (Dracula) and Mehmed II the Sultan of Otoman Empire. Also we visit in Targoviste the military unit where the former dictator Nicolae Ceausescu was judged and executed in 1989.
