Enjoy a wonderful 5-day tour of Machu Picchu and see the best of Cusco and the Sacred Valley. Your small-group tour includes a professional guide and accommodation.Day 1: Cusco Plus City Tour
Upon arrival at the airport in Cusco, you'll be taken to your hotel. There, you will receive a briefing from your guide and rest for some time. At approx. 1pm, be picked up from your hotel to start a great city tour of Cusco. Visit The Koricancha Temple of the Sun, and the Cathedral to marvel at the religious art. Then, go to Sacsayhuaman which is a majestic place with impressive works in stone, some up to 120 tons. Continue to Q´enqo (Labyrinth), a religious center dedicated to the adoration of the Earth and then see Puca Pucara: (reddish place) which was used as a military control center. End the tour visiting Tambomachay: (Temple of the Water), a center of adoration and worship of water. Head back to your hotel and rest for the night.

Day 2: Sacred Valley Tour
After breakfast, be picked up from your hotel at 8am and head to the Urubamba Valley visiting the colorful Indian market in Pisac. Here, you'll be able to appreciate the mixture of color and tradition and have an opportunity to test your bartering skills, interact with the local craftsmen. Followed by Pisac you'll see Urubamba where you will have a delicious buffet lunch at a restaurant (NOT INCLUDED). Continue through Ollantaytambo, the oldest continuously occupied town on the American continent. The narrow streets of Ollantaytambo, along with their canals, have not changed much from the time of the Inca Empire. The last visit will be the Chinchero market and then head back to Cusco.

Day 3: Aguas Calientes
Be picked up from your Cusco hotel at around 8am (to be confirmed) and go to the train station to head to Aguas Calientes. The train leaves at 11:30am (time may change depending on availability and changes to timetable). After a 3.5-hour journey of majestic views, you arrive to Aguas Calientes town where you will spend the night. There will be plenty of time to relax or if you want to have a hot bath in the natural springs.

Day 4: Machu Picchu
Have breakfast and then your guide will pick you up from your hotel (5:40am). Take the bus up to majestic Machu Picchu to catch the sunrise and then begin your walking tour with your guide (approximately 2 hours). After this you can explore the mysterious city on your own. After enjoying a magic time in Machu Picchu, you will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes for lunch. Then, take the train back to Ollantaytambo. Upon your arrival to the train station, be picked up and taken back to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 5:
After breakfast be taken to the airport depending on your flight itinerary.
