Meander and explore the peaceful sea shore. Hiking across unspoilt, spectacular golden beaches and along the wonderful green coast line of the Western Cape's Garden Route near Mossel Bay.
Day 1:
Either self drive to Mossel Bay or fly to George airport where you will be met and transported to your first night stop. (At Extra Charge.)
Enjoy dinner at local leading restaurant and overnight in Mossel Bay at top quality accommodation
Day 2 – 15km:
After breakfast, walk with the guide to the starting point of the Trail, at historical St Blaize Cave. Meander and explore with your guide(s) along cliffs and contour paths to Dana Bay, passing over Pinnacle Point Estate and ancient caves. You have an optional POHO tour at Pinnacle Point (extra charge). If this option is selected hikers will be transported to overnight stay from Pinnacle Point clubhouse or if not hike will continue to Dana Bay.Transport will be provided to overnight stay. Overnight at Sandpiper cottages or similar luxury accommodation
Day 3 – 13km

Day 3 – 13km
After breakfast continue hike to Boggomsbaai from previous days pick up. Frequent sighting of whales seasonally behind the breakers (June to October). Dolphins often play and surf along the route. Visit ancient Khoi San middens in the dunes. Arrive mid afternoon at Sandpiper cottages. Welcome snacks and drinks. Dinner at Sandpiper Centre or similar.
Day 4 - 21km:
After breakfast hike from Boggomsbaai along beach and rocky shore to historical Fransmanshoek where the La Fortune French war ship sank in 1763. Beach lunch, snorkelling and swimming in secluded bay. From Fransmanshoek continue hike to the Gouritz River passing ancient Khoi San fish traps and Cape Vacca. Walk up great sand dunes – an option for the fitter ones, continue hike to Gouritz River. Transport across river by boat and be transported back to Sandpiper. Dinner at the Sandpiper Centre and overnight at Sandpiper Cottages.
Day 5:
Breakfast and prize giving at Sandpiper Centre and transport back to Mossel Bay included
