Day 1
The tour will start with a private-pickup in your hotel in Vienna or Vienna airport, then drive to the Slovak capital - Bratislava where in few hours you will get the opportunity to see this beautiful city on the river Danube.
We will then head down south to Hungary to see the former capital and the centre of Hungarian catholic church - Esztergom and see the biggest basilica in Hungary famous Esztergom basilica. After this unique visit we will cross the Danube river and stay overnight in luxurious Chateau Bela 5* which was built in 1732 by János Terstyánsky
Day 2
After breakfast we will head to the North of Slovakia, visiting the former capital of the Great Moravian Empire - Nitra with its Nitra castle, after a short visit in this mediaval town we will transfer to Topolcianky where we will have the opportunity to see the former Habsburg and then later Czechoslovaks presidents summer residence Chateau Topolcianky with its Lippizaner horse stud. After a beautiful day you will stay overnight in Chateau Appony - renaissance chateau from the Appony dynasty from 1392 that has been transforned into a luxury 4* hotel
Day 3
After breakfast we will transfer to the famous slovak fairytale castle - Bojnice where the beauty and tradition meet, after the visit we will transfer just behind the corner to the nearby slovak heritage village Piestany with unique painted houses. After a short coffee break you will head north to visit Vlkolinec - another UNESCO World Heritage site hidden in the mountains, where you will be able to see the traditional houses with people still living in them. After this remarkable experience you will transfer into another great chateau Liptovsky Hradok, the first written record about the castle goes back to 1341 and the castle was once surrounded by a moat which is now only a small romantic lake. You will get the opportunity to stay in the bastion of this beautiful chateau.
Day 4
This day we will head to the pearl of Slovakia to the world famous High Tatras, where you will get the opportunity to see Lomnicky peak, Strbske pleso and many other great places.
In the afternoon we will head to the west, with a photo stop at Strecno castle and to our last Chateau stay to Chateau Mignon which history dates back to 1582 and is a big manor house with a large garde which once belonged to Illeshazy family.
Day 5
We will head back to Vienna with a stop at Red Stone castle which once used to be the home of the famous Palfy noble family, where you will get the opportunity to see the largest wine cellars in Slovakia. Once in the wine country we will of course get the opportunity to taste slovak wines in of the best Slovak wine producers/ Karpatska perla, Elesko or Matysak/
After a great experience we will head back to Vienna
