Day 1Arrival Iquitos city. Greeting and transfer to the town of Nauta by private car. Transfer by boat inside to Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve, during the trip you will watch dolphins (bufeos) pink and gray colors, different kind of birds. Arrival at a community and accommodate in the refuge. Typical lunch. Excursion around the refuge. Dinner and Overnight at Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve.
Day 2
Breakfast and departure on a peque-peque boat or a motorboat by a small river observing various species of monkeys, turtles, birds and maybe even the tapir, capybara, sajino (collared peccary) and huangana ( white-lipped peccary ). After lunch walk through a trail along a Cocha (lake). This is a chance to spot caimans and nocturnal birds along the way. Dinner and overnight at National Reserve Pacaya Samiria.
Day 3
Breakfast. Day of camping, taking only the necessary, we go camping into the forest. On the way it`s possible to find more animals such as sloths, iguanas and different kinds of monkeys. It`s possible to camp nearby a lake or a river. After Lunch the we do an excursion around the place for the survival techniques. Dinner at the forest and Trek to a second lake, where in any season it’s possible to see black and white lizards.
Day 4
Breakfast. Bird-watching. A paddle boat ride and possibility of fishing piranha. Giant river otters live in the lake and are often observed. After a typical lunch walk through the forest to know medicinal plants and their applications. Dinner and overnight at National Reserve Pacaya Samiria.
Day 5
After breakfast return to Buenos Aires community. Walk around to participate with activities in the village. We eill have lunch and then return to Nauta town. And finally back to Iquitos.
