Discover the untouched South Pacific and explore the spectacular Sacred Islands, Yasawa Islands and Blue Lagoon region on a 4 night Wanderer Cruise.Day 1 Monday - Yalobi Bay
After a dedicated high-speed catamaran transfer a big “BULA” welcome will see you aboard Fiji Princess. Check in and enjoy lunch onboard while enjoying the breathtaking backdrop of the Sacred Islands. Spend the afternoon swimming, snorkelling and relaxing until we cruise to the beautiful Yalobi Bay for the night. Fiji style high tea is served following a cooking lesson on how to make ‘Roti in Lolo’. Watch the sunset during happy hour and try your hand in the coconut bowls competition. Tonight enjoy the Captain’s Dinner – an a-la-carte menu served in the dining saloon and entertainment provided by our talented singing, dancing and guitar playing crew!
Day 2 Tuesday - Blue Lagoon
This superb stretch of water is ringed by islands and includes our very own private island peninsula. Check out the stunning azure water. Watch as the crew position the vessel right up to the beach and tie her off to the coconut trees! Happy hour on shore with canapés is served followed by a very special night enjoying a traditional Lovo meal cooked underground. Dine on the beach under the coconut palms and the tropical stars. The evening will continue with a Fijian meke, singing, dancing and storytelling by local villagers.
Day 3 Wednesday - Sawa-i-Lau Island
An easy-guided island walk with panoramic views is offered this morning. Visit an island style cake shop and browse the shell market. Laze in the sun or try your hand at basket weaving. Both diving and a guided snorkelling safari are on offer today. Lunch is served on board as Fiji Princess cruises north for a private guided visit to the amazing Sawa-i-Lau caves. The village of Tamasua welcomes us to a yaqona ceremony, a guided walk around the village and a village style “feast” prepared and cooked by the village women. You’ll be Fijian for the night, sitting on mats and eating Fijian village food.
Day 4 Thursday - Drawaqa Island
Cruise to Drawaqa Island where our Marine Biologist joins us for a presentation about the local marine life and the volunteer conservation work carried out in the area. During May to October you’ll have the opportunity to snorkel with the magnificent manta rays. Also on offer today is an excursion to the local island school to view the work of the Vinaka Fiji Volunteers. Abseiling off an island cliff top down to stunning waters is another great option! Dinner this evening is a barbecue served under the stars followed by party night Fiji style.
Day 5 Friday
Enjoy breakfast onboard as Fiji Princess cruises back toward Port Denarau. Along the way you’ll be serenaded with a traditional Isa Lei farewell song by the crew, as your exploration of the beautiful Yasawa Islands comes to an end.
