Day 1: Kiev – Tunnel of Love – Lviv
Departure from Kiev. Distance from Kiev is 350 km. When you arrive to the Tunnel of Love, it will impress you with its beauty. The trees that grow along the railway track intertwine at the top forming a magical tunnel that seems endless.
After that, we depart for Lviv. Distance 202 km. Overnight in Lviv.
Day 2: Lviv
After breakfast, you will take a Lviv City tour. You will discover the High Castle Hill, St. Yura Cathedral, Lviv Polytechnic University, Patotskih Palace, the Opera House and the Lychakiv Cemetery. You will have free time to have a lunch (own expense). Then, you will discover the central part of Lviv. You will see the Market Square decorated with beautiful fountains with statues of Greek mythological figures. Overnight in Lviv.
Day 3: Lviv – Castles of Lviv Region - Ternopil
After breakfast, you will see magnificent castles of the Lviv region. Our first stop will be at the Olesko Castle, surrounded by a charming park. The museum exhibits unique works of art. Then you will see a beautiful Zolochiv castle. The castle ensemble consists of the Great Palace of late Renaissance and the Chinese Palace. You will have free time for a lunch (own expense). The last castle you will see is the Pidgirtsy castle, a masterpiece of the late Renaissance architecture.
Our next destination is a city of Ternopil. You will have an “Evening Ternopil city tour”. It is a cozy city and you will admire the beauty and tranquility. The main city’s attraction is a beautiful lake. Overnight in Ternopil.
Day 4: Ternopil – Dzhurinsky Waterfall – Chervonograd Castle – Kamenets-Podolsky
Leaving Ternopil after breakfast, we will discover Dzhurinsky waterfall and the Chervonograd castle. You will be mesmerized by the panorama of the castle. The waterfall is hidden in a picturesque ravine. Later, we head to Kamenets-Podolsky. You will enjoy the City Tour and see Kamenets-Podolsky Castle, located in a picturesque canyon of the Smotrich River. Overnight in Kamenets-Podolsky.
Day 5: Kamenets-Podolsky – Bakota – Starokonstantinov - Kiev
After breakfast, you will visit Bakota. You will see the remains of the ancient cave monastery and admire the stunning views of the deep canyon of the Dniester River. On our way back to Kiev, you will visit the city of Starokonstantinov. The main sight of which is a miraculous Virgin’s face that has appeared on the castle wall. Later, we head to Kiev. We arrive in Kiev in the evening.
