You will be sailing in and around the Strait of Gibraltar where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea, visiting beautiful marinas and ports along the Spanish and Moroccan coast. Gibraltar Airport is only a short walk away from your yacht.Spend 5 days cruising the straight of Gibraltar, Morocco and Spanish forts long the Mediterranean coast. Fly to Gibraltar, cross the border into Spain and walk ten minutes to Alcaidesa Marina where you will meet your yacht.
Once you've settled on board and met the rest of the crew go out for a stroll around La Linea town, popular for its restaurants and bars. To make your evening complete try La Serrana for the best food in town, this fabulous tapas bar is one of the top ten restaurants in La Linea.
The next day, after a leisurely breakfast you will set sail from Gibraltar Bay to Ceuta, a Spanish town on the north coast of Africa. You can visit the famous Royal Walls, have fun at the water park and dine out at the fabulous restaurants by the marina.
On the following day you will sail the coast of Morocco to the beautiful Marina Smir. Once there you can visit the popular town of Tetuan, enjoy the authentic Moroccan cuisine and don't forget to take a camel ride!
The next day you will sail across the Strait of Gibraltar to a beautiful marina along the Costa del Sol in Spain. The marinas of Benalmadena, Fuengirola, Estepona and Duquesa offer visitors a great selection of restaurants, bars and cafes, shops, children's activities and sandy beaches nearby. Beautiful sunsets, night sailing, swimming, fishing and even sailing with dolphins and whales can be part of the experience.
On the last day you will sail back to Gibraltar Bay going around Europa Point at the southernmost point of Gibraltar before arriving at Alcaidesa Marina. Your Sailing Week experience is all-inclusive of Skipper, food on board, safety equipment, mooring fees, fuel and bedding. It is all about you having fun, learning new skills and keeping safe!
