Take a break from Aruba’s picture-perfect beaches with a half-day tour to another of the island’s natural highlights, the Natural Pool in Arikok National Park. Sitting pretty on Aruba’s east coast, the Natural Pool, surrounded by volcanic rock, provides a fun and interesting place to swim and snorkel with other adventurous types who’ve made the off-road trek by 4x4 vehicle. Your caravan also stops at island attractions like the Gold Mill Ruins and Natural Bridge. Cold drinks and hotel transport included. After hotel pickup in either the morning or afternoon, depending on the option selected when booking, meet your guide for a quick safety briefing, and then take off in a caravan of 4-wheel-drive vehicles. You can either settle in behind the wheel or hop in the passenger seat of your 4-person 4x4, outfitted with extra comfortable seats to cushion you from Aruba’s bumpy terrain.
Your destination is Aruba’s famous Natural Pool, but stop along the way at other natural and historical sites like the Gold Mill Ruins, where remnants of the island’s gold-prospecting days still stand. You’ll also visit the ruins of the Natural Bridge, a naturally formed limestone bridge on Aruba’s northeast coast that collapsed in 2005.

Finally, reach Arikok National Park, a protected piece of land that takes up nearly 20 percent of the island. Enjoy the fun, rugged, off-road ride through the park to the Natural Pool — known locally as conchi — a swimming spot formed by volcanic rock that sits right on the coast. Inaccessible by normal car, the Natural Pool allows you to feel like you’ve ‘discovered’ a piece of the island that many visitors don’t make the effort to visit.
Don your provided snorkeling gear and jump in the water to check out the colorful fish and coral. You can also cool off with provided drinks during your hour of free time here. After leaving the Natural Pool and returning to your starting point aboard your 4x4, enjoy a hot lunch or dinner (depending on the tour time selected). After your meal, you'll be transported back to your hotel.
