Explore the heart of Prague with a local guide and see the highlights of the Old Town (Old Town Square with the Astronomical clock), the Jewish Quarter, and the Charles Bridge. Have a lunch in a different way - on a boat with a hot open buffet - eat what you want and as much as you want! This tour is easy and enjoyable for everybody, kids love it.You will meet your guide at 10:00am in Old Town Square under the Astronomical clock. You'll visit the historical district where you'll see some of the many highlights of Prague. Your tour starts at the Old Town Square where the guide will tell you about the development of the town, what buildings you'll see and why they're important.
From there, you'll continue to the Jewish district which used to be a town within the Old Town with its own administration and life. You'll pass a few synagogues including the oldest and still active Old-New synagogues as well as the Old Jewish Cemetery. You'll learn about the development of the ghetto, how the Jews lived in the medieval ages and during the Second World War. You'll then walk over the Charles Bridge.
At noon, you'll be taken on a 2-hour boat ride to enjoy a delicious lunch buffet. You can enjoy some cold starters that consists of a variety of vegetables, salami, cheeses and fish. You'll also have hot dishes such as chicken legs, schnitzel, tomato sauce with pork and vegetables. Your check will be able to prepare a meal according to your dietary restrictions, if any. You can also enjoy dessert and fruits. Drinks are not included, you'll pay directly to the waiter. Both Czech Crown and Euro are accepted on the boat.
You'll sail down the river and be able to bask in the beauty of Prague where you'll be able to take memorable pictures from the boat and have the opportunity to get pictures that you wouldn't be able to get otherwise. Your sail will continue down the river, all the way to the Vyšehrad (the second castle in Prague), passing the city quarters like Smíchov, Podollí - industrial parts of 19th century Prague, also you will sail under the Charles Bridge. The boat sails into a lock for the water level differences.
After the boat ride you will be taken back to the Old Town Square where the tour ends.
