We’ll cycle around so that you can try to see some of this amazing wildlife, in addition to picturesque views along the way. Additional highlights include visiting a crocodile swamp and lounging about the beautiful beaches of Central Vietnam.Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Cat Tien National Park 45km+ cycling (L)
In the morning we’ll have a short transfer out of the busy city. We’ll pass rubber plantations and green coffee fields along the way. Then, we’ll mount our bikes and ride toward the National Park, first stopping at a former volcanic crater. Once we reach the park, we’ll do some trekking through the Reserved Core Area to see and photograph it’s ancient trees. In the evening, we’ll take a two-hour night cruise into the jungle. The trip will be by jeep, and we’ll enjoy sights and sounds of animals in the wild. We’ll stay overnight in Cat Tien National Park.
Day 2: Cat Tien – Da Lat 40km+ cycling (B,L)
On the second day, you’ll wake up to the songs of native birds. The park covers 71,920 hectares of lowland forest and swamp in southern Vietnam and is home to numerous birds and mammals. We will cycle and then trek a bit to explore the park and see some of this wildlife. Along the way we’ll visit a crocodile swamp. Then, we’ll bus to Da Lat and bike ride around before settling down for the night.
Day 3: Da Lat – Nha Trang 100km cycling (B,L)
We’ll enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then mount the bikes. The ride will follow the coast, past rubber plantations and rice fields. The route to Nha Trang is hilly, but rewarding. We’ll take some time to visit the Ponagar Temple before dinner at a local barbecue restaurant.
Day 4: Nha Trang Departure (B,L)
You’ll be able to enjoy some early swimming at the nice beach before breakfast. Then, we’ll take a local boat out to spend some time snorkeling. Afterward, we’ll visit an aquarium and enjoy lunch at an island restaurant. This will conclude our trip together. You may either continue your trip independently from here, or head back to Ho Chi Minh City.
