Day 1: Genoa - Pisa - Siena
Your departure is at 8:30am from the Hotel BW Moderno Verdi in Genoa. Arrival to Pisa and visit Piazza dei Miracoli, that includes the famous Leaning Tower, the Baptistery and the Cathedral. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, head to Siena, surrounded by Chianti woods and hills and located in the center of a large and attractive valley. Siena is a great mixture of culture, history and food. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Siena - Montepulciano - Pienza - Siena (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you start off to Montepulciano, known for its marvelous 16th century artwork and located about 2400 feet (750 m) above sea level. It had a core role in the Roman and Etruscan ages, and known for its production of Nobile, a tasty red wine.
Next head to Pienza, situated on the top of a hill. Art and food make it a compulsory place to stop. Visit Piazza Pio the II, Renaissance style, that includes many palaces, like Palazzo Piccolomini, Comunale and Borgia. Walk close to the old wall. Enjoy the wonderful view over the entire valley that ends with the Mont Amiata. Free time for lunch.
After this, head to Montalcino, characterized by a great fortress which surrounds it among the three valleys: Asso, Aria and Orcia. Visit there and back to Siena for overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Siena - San Gimignano - Volterra - Siena (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. You will depart to San Gimignano, known as the “tower city”. Visit Porta San Giovanni, Piazza della Cisterna, Piazza del Popolo, Civical Museum and Sant’Agostino. Free time for lunch. Then, you are on your way to Volterra. Located on the top of a hill, this town is famous all over the world both for its medieval character and for the manufacturing of alabaster. You’ll see the main square, the town hall, the Cathedral, the Baptistery and the Civic Museum. Back to Siena. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Siena - Chianti - Genoa (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning your route will take you through the so called Strada del Chianti, one of the most important wines produced in Italy. Take a short trip around the valleys, hills, small medieval villages, towers, vineyards, and farms.
Arrive in Castellina in Chianti, an old medieval city surrounded by walls. Next, it's Greve in Chianti, with an asymmetric square rich in galleries and balconies, then to Lucca, another city inside an old wall, perfectly conserved. Visit of Piazza Napoleone, Piazza Anfiteatro, the Cathedral, Piazza San Martino. Free time for lunch and then it's back to Genoa.
