Itinerary
Day 1:
You will be picked up from your hotel in Chiang Mai around 1:30pm and will explore the ancient city of Chiang Mai. The first stop is 160feet (48m) high Wat Suan Dok and you will see behind these white Chedi rises a golden bell shape edifice. A short drive to visit Wat Phra Sing located within the old city walls and continue to Wat Chedi Luang, the historic centre of Chiang Mai. You will visit the Wat Ched Yod and Wat Chiang Man before heading back to the hotel in Chiang Mai around 6:30pm. Please note, no meals included.
Day 2:
On the second day of your tour, you will enjoy the stunning panoramic views over the city at Wat Prathat Doi Suthep. If you adventures enough, try to climb up a 309 steps Naga staircase to reach the temple or you can use the cable car service. Next, you will visit a historical landmark, Wararot Market a long standing market, known for its variety of speciality Chiang Mai food and products, followed by a visit to the flower market.
Enjoy a pleasant Northern Thai Khantoke dinner accompanied by an authentic Lanna traditional show and performances. You will return to the hotel around 9:30pm and overnight in Chiang Mai. Please note, breakfast and dinner are included.
Day 3:
The next day, you will get up close and personal with the national animal of Thailand at an elephant camp. You will witness these gentle giants animal showing their skill. After lunch, join a relaxing long-tail boat to Chiang Rai through the Kok River. You will travel past the magnificent local villages of Muser and Karen hill tribes located alongside the river. We will arrive at Chiang Rai and take a short transfer back to your hotel. Please note, breakfast and lunch are included.
Day 4:
After breakfast, we will check out of the hotel and visit Wat Rongkhun (White Temple). You will continue to the ancient Chiang Saen city and have lunch at the Imperial Golden Triangle Resort then transfer back to Chiang Rai Airport. Please note that transfer to Outer-Chiang Rai hotels will be subject to supplement charges. The tour will finish around 2pm and you are recommended depart from Chiang Rai Airport at 3:45pm. Please note, breakfast and lunch are included.
