We leave at 9am from Lago Agrio in a private transport for 2 hours to sector “EL Puente”. Then, after lunch we take a motor canoe on the Cuyabeno river for 3 hours. This part of the journey will already allow us the opportunity to observe different species of birds and monkeys and other wildlife. When we arrive at camp we eat dinner and then rest.

After breakfast at 8am we will trek in the primary jungle for around 3.5 hours observing and getting to know the huge diversity that exists in this zone; for example the giant Ceibo tree, medicinal plants, poisonous plants, hallucinogenic plants, palms, orchids, bromelias, heliconias etc.
Among the amphibians present in the area we can see poisonous frogs, geckos, crystal frogs and lizards. Of course there also exists a great number of interesting insects such as spiders, citrus ants, beetles, agricultural ants and multicolored butterflies. After this we have lunch and rest.
In the afternoon we will go walking in search of seeds that are used for necklaces and bracelets for an artisan demonstration of this skill.
