Upon arrival to Yangon international airport your guide will greet you and transfer to the hotel. After check-in the tour begins with Kandawgyi Park, one of central Yangon’s greenest spots and Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda’s 70m (230 feet) long reclining Buddha. You will see the glittering Karaweik barge. Shwedagon Pagoda is the landmark of Myanmar and one of the greatest wonders of the world. Enjoy sunset views of the golden stupa from this vantage point.
After the tour you will stop for dinner at a local restaurant and then, transfer to express bus station in Bagan. Approximately at 8:00pm you will take an overnight express bus to Bagan.
Day 2: Yangon-Bagan (B)
Upon arrival to Bagan early in the morning, you will be transferred to the hotel for a quick freshen up. Then start your excursion on busy Nyaung Oo local market, followed by visit to near-by religious monuments. A diverse selection of most famous pagodas and temples, such as: Shwezigon pagoda, Ananda temple, and Kubyauk Gyi. Afterwards you will go to Shwesandaw Stupa to watch the sunset.
After the excursion you will be transferred to your hotel Bagan Thande (or similar) for overnight stay.
Day 3: Bagan, Mt. Popa, Bagan (B)
After breakfast in hotel you will go on excursion to Mount Popa where you will hear the legends about Nats represent a heritage of earlier animist religions in Burmese countryside, which were synchronized with Buddhist religion in the 11th century. Enjoy a panoramic view from the top of Popa Taung Kalat.
On the way back to Bagan learn about locals' daily life, observe the process of traditional lacquerware, one of Myanmar’s best-known handicrafts. In the evening, approximately at 8:00 pm you will be transferred to express bus station for your overnight travel back to Yangon.
Day 4: Yangon (B)
After breakfast visit Bogyoke (Scotts) market with hundreds of stores, and after lunch you will get some free time until the airport transfer to catch your flight.
