First, you will pass an elegant building of the National Opera and Ballet Theatre and stunning main building of the Shevchenko University. Then, you’ll visit a magnificent St. Volodymyr’s Cathedral and admire its interior. The tour continues and you’ll see the ancient Golden Gates, the Yaroslav the Wise monument and a cozy park around it. The highlight of the tour is a UNESCO-listed St. Sofia Cathedral (without visiting) and a dazzling St. Michael’s Cathedral. Then, you will see a splendid panorama of the Dnieper River from the observation deck.

Following breakfast, you’ll be picked-up from the hotel and start a joyful 2,5-hour tour of the Andreevsky Descent.
Your guide will show you a beautiful St. Andrew’s Church, built in the Baroque style. Not far from it, there is a Monument to the “After two hares” movie characters. You can make nice pictures there. Then you will walk down the cobblestone descent, passing the mysterious Richard’s Castle and admiring the architecture of this street. Your guide will tell you many interesting stories about famous people, who lives on Andreevsky Descent, including M. Bulgakov. Nowadays, you will find an open-air market all along the street, where you can buy some hand-made souvenirs and vintage stuff.
