Day 1: Welcome to Tanzania (D)
Begin with a pick up at Arusha Regional Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport and head to the Moivaro Lodge for your first overnight stay in Tanzania. Depending on your arrival time, you will still have a town trip or Arusha National Park tour after lunch and some time to freshen up during the evening. Shopping and sightseeing (Arusha) will be your main focus on this first day.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park (B, L, D)
After a short tour briefing in Arusha, your Tanzania Lodge Safari will get underway. Your first stop is at one of Tanzania's top Northern Safari Circuit game parks, the Tarangire National Park, named after the Tarangire River which flows through the park. During the dry season, the river attracts large numbers of various animals. Considered one of the most beautiful wilderness areas in northern Tanzania with an incredibly diverse landscape and vegetation, which sustains high grasses, dense bush and huge numbers of baobab trees. This park is home to a variety of wildlife but is particularly well known for big cats, including tree climbing lions.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park - Lake Manyara National Park & Karatu (B, L, D)
Leave Tarangire National Park after breakfast and drive to the nearby Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic gem described by Ernest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”. On your route to Lane Manyara National Park, you will pass through Mto wa Mbu village, home to 120 different tribes. Arrive at the park after a lunch stop and go on an afternoon game drive amid contrasting scenery.

Day 4: Ngorongoro - Karatu -Arusha
Enjoy an early hearty breakfast at your lodge and then head for Ngorongoro Crater, where you descend the steep crater walls to explore this wilderness teeming with wildlife. The Big 5 may be found at Ngorongoro Crater and it boasts one of the highest concentration of lions in the world. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ngorongoro is a huge caldera 18 km in diameter with walls as high as 600 meters. The fertile crater supports a variety of wildlife including elephants, monkeys, hyena, jackal and herds of zebra, wildebeest, buffalo and other antelope species in diverse habitats.
