We will leave early from Cusco by bus, arriving to the 82 km. In this place we´ll get in contact with porters and cooks, who will take the equipment for the trip. We´ll begin the Hiking to Machu Picchu or Inca Trail to Machu Picchu crossing the Piscacucho bridge then we´ll climb to arrive to Patallaqta, where we´ll have lunch, then continue our journey crossing the Valley of Huayllabamba, until our campsite where we´ll have a dinner
Day 2: Inca trail Huayllabamba - Pacaymayu
Breakfast. We´ll continue our trek until Warmihuañusca at 4,200 m.a.s.l., here we will have a panoramic view of the mountains and high snowy picks surrounding us
We´ll descend to our campsite, Pacaymayu. Here we will have dinner and overnight
Day 3: Inka trail Pacaymayu - Wiñaywayna
Breakfast. Then we will begin the trekking ascending toward Runcuracay, an archaeological area at 3,700 m.a.s.l., then we´ll continue toward Sayacmarka (an archaeological area). After luch we´ll continue to Puyupatamarca (in Quechua, City above the clouds), impressive Inca City . Finally we´ll arrive to Wiñaywayna to 2,690 m.a.s.l where we´ll have dinner and overnight
Day 4: Wiñaywayna - Machu pichu
After breakfast we´ll continue to Inti Punku or the Sun Gate, entrance to the Machupicchu. Here, we´ll have a guided tour in this citadel. Later we´ll go down by bus to Aguas Calientes, and after lunch (not included) we´ll take the train back to Cusco.
