This is one of the alternative treks that ends in Machu Picchu. This route is becoming more famous by the influx of people every day. Along the route you can do various adventure activities such as biking, rafting, zip line and trekking & Machu Picchu.
Day 1: Cusco - Ssanta Maria (biking, rafting)
Adventurers will be picked up from 7am and driven through the most beautiful sacred valley of the Incas, the center of the Inca civilization and dropped off at the 4,316m high Abra Málaga. Here the Adventurers will change in to the kit provided by our company (gloves, elbow pads, knee pads, and helmet) following a 20 minute briefing by our tour guide. Then the fun and adventure starts, after 3 hours of biking, we arrive to the small town Santa Maria where we are going to start new adventure rafting for 2:30 hours then will have a short van ride back to Santa Maria where we are going to spend a night in local family house.

Day 2: Santa Maria - Santa Teresa (hiking, hot spring)
At 6:30am you wake up in order to enjoy our typical breakfast. After we will start hiking along the river bank then we climb to start the section of original Inca trail as we walk up and down precipitous cliffs over the stunning valley. Your guide will explain you more about flora, fauna and Inca jungle history revealing some of what little we do know from this ancient and amazing culture.

The Inca trail descends to Quellomayo where the group will stop for lunch and have free time to relax in hammocks. Then we continue to the Cocalmayo to enjoy the natural hot spring sink into the warm water and let the aches of the Inca jungle trail melt away. The last part of the hiking will take us to Santa Teresa for dinner. We sleep here in a comfortable local family house.

Day 3: Santa Teresa – Aguas Calientes Town (zip line, trekking)
This day you have two options: you can either walk from Santa Teresa to Aguas Calientes (11 kilometers total) or do a zip line tour in the morning (with transport to the hydroelectric station) and walk the final 7 kilometers. Whatever option you choose, the group will meet again in the hydroelectric station for lunch and after we will walk 3 hours along the train track to Aguas Calientes town, where we are going to sleep at hostel. After dinner we have briefing about the guided tour in Machu Picchu for the following day and you have the option to visit the Aguas Calientes hot springs (10 soles entry).

Day 4: Machu Picchu
At 4am the group has to wake up to be ready to hike up to Machu Picchu. We have the amazing opportunity to see the sun rising after registration in the main entrance of Machu Picchu which is open at 6am. The guide will explain about the Inca history and share everything he knows. After a 2 hours tour, you will have free time to explore the site by yourself or climb Huayna Picchu mountain. By the afternoon you have to come back down to Aguas Calientes to take the train back to Ollantaytambo and then the bus back to Cusco.

The tour ends in Cusco's main square.
