Get a great look at the largest waterfall in the region, ‘Devil’s Throat.’ Explore the beautiful 14 falls, dropping 350 feet (107 meters), and see the tall cloud of mist rising above the water.
Day 3:
The next day, get a different perspective of Iguassu Falls as you cross the border to Argentina. See the top of the beautiful falls and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the area. Get an up-close look at some of the smaller waterfalls on the Argentinian side as you learn about the history of the falls from your guide.
Then, visit the historic Itaipu Dam, one of the largest operating hydroelectric power plants in the world. Learn about the history of the dam and how it works as you take in panoramic views of the huge Itaipu Dam, which was constructed in the 1970s and 1980s. This damn’s astounding size will leave you speechless. You’ll also get to watch a documentary on the power plant and view the stunning piece of architecture from an observation deck.
