Depart Melbourne at approximately 7.30am from the National Gallery of Victoria, St Kilda Road. Stop for a morning tea break at the idyllic village of Anglesea. Enjoy a delicious lunch and pre-walk briefing at Apollo Bay before beginning your walk at Marengo traveling through Elliot River, past exposed headlands, wild beaches and lush rainforest.
Arrive at the Cape Otway Light Station at approximately 5pm where you will indulge in a delicious two-course dinner prepared by guides at Cape Otway Lightstation.
Day 2: 10-16km (moderate)
Your walk begins from Cape Otway Lightstation (right at the front door) for superb views throughout this section of the walk. Enjoy lunch at the Aire River campground – a lovely tidal river here meets the rolling green hills of the Otways. Here you have the option of finishing for the day or continuing to Castle Cove.
Enjoy a delicious two-course dinner prepared by guides at Cape Otway Lightstation, overnight at Cape Otway Lightstation.
Day 3: 10-14km (moderate)
Milanesia Beach, through Ryan’s Den to Moonlight Head. There is also have the option of adding another 4kms to the walk from Moonlight Head to the Gables. Enjoy lunch at at Ryan's Den before enjoying a two-course dinner prepared by guides at Cape Otway Lightstation Overnight at Cape Otway Lightstation
Day 4: 8km (easy to moderate)
Princetown to the magnificent Twelve Apostles. Today’s walk follows the cliff lines of the Great Ocean Walk finishing at the iconic Twelve Apostles. The walk is easy to moderate nature, allowing plenty of time to soak up the views.
Enjoy a delicious lunch and afternoon tea – Colac (own expense) before returning to central Melbourne at approximately 5.30pm.
