This gentle 4-day cycling tour allows you to explore all the highlights of central Thailand, including the colorful Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, picturesque Kanchanaburi, the ancient capital of Ayutthaya and the stunning Bang Pa-In summer palace all in one trip.
Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and head out into Thailand's peaceful countryside where we cycle a total of 75mi (120km) over a course of four days, exploring all that central Thailand has to offer. This scenic route follows country trails and rides along side the Chao Phraya and Mae Klong river, and many of the canals that caused old Siam to be dubbed "Venice of the East". This gentle and family friendly cycling tour ride allows you to experience Thailand's culture and history as we visit the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and take a scenic ride on a long tail boat.
In Kanchanaburi, we stop to see the Bridge over the River Kwai, the exquisite Wat Prasat Muang Singh, the Death Railway and the famous Kraset Caves. We stop for a quick swim at Sai Yok waterfall before riding to the historic Ayutthaya, where we explore the temples of the ancient capital.
On our fourth and last day we ride through green paddy fields to Bang Pa In, the summer palace of King Chulalongkorn, before driving back to Bangkok.
An air-conditioned minivan travels behind the group to support us and participants can cycle as much or as little as they like and still enjoy the same views as the rest of the group. This 4-Day/3-Night tour includes breakfast-3, lunch-4 and dinner-2.
