The tour starts in the cultural capital of Ireland, Galway. Bohemian Galway is renowned for its friendly atmosphere. Enjoy the city’s bustling market stalls, artisan producers, wine shops, great restaurants and buzzing nightlife. Every night is like a Friday night in Galway. The brightly painted bars have live music and cafés offer front row seats for observing street performers. If the weather permits we will take you kitesurfing or stand up paddle boarding in Galway.
Thursday: Aran Islands
Journey west to Connemara, Ireland’s Gaelic speaking region. Hop on board your private yacht to the Aran Islands where you can learn to sail and discover the beauty of Galway Bay with the wind at your back and the boat under your helm. This luxury yacht is your home for the night and is yours to enjoy as you like.
Arrive on rugged Inis Mór, the largest of the Aran Islands in glorious Galway Bay. Explore the island, meet the locals and learn some “Gaeilge”. Cycle to the stone fort Dún Aenghus, which lies 100m over the Atlantic ocean. After a dinner and some night life on Inis Mór relax onboard for some downtime before setting sail for the mainland the following morning.
Friday: Westport
Depart Rosaveal Pier for the stunning town of Westport. Take in the breathtaking views of the Inagh Valley on route to Westport. Climb the west’s most iconic mountain, Croagh Patrick, and learn about the man responsible for St. Patrick’s Day. Unwind with some local craft beers and excellent food in Westport Town. Experience “the craic” at a traditional Irish music session in Matt Molloy’s bar.
Saturday: Westport to Dublin
Finish your adventure tour in Clew Bay with a paddle board under your feet. Explore the coastline and take a dip in the fresh water before departing Westport for Dublin. Our guides will send you out armed with activity and dining recommendations for Dublin City if you have a bit of time left in on your holiday in Ireland.
