Enjoy a day away from the hustle and bustle of the city with our eco adventure day-trip from Phuket. Exploring mangrove forest to see the habitat for many species of flora and fauna, paddle along the waterway in Mangrove Rivers to search for some marine species that inhabit in these muddy areas. Then, trekking at Khao Phra Taeo National Park to discover the beautiful area of nature and opportunity to see the gibbons. You will enjoy an amazing sunset views at Natai Beach before return to your hotel.Meet your guide at 10am, at a central location in Phuket or your hotel lobby in Kota-Karon areas. Sign waivers, receive instructions, and bottled water before staring your tour. Please wear comfortable and appropriate footwear as the path would be muddy.
We arrive at Bang Rong (North-East Coast of Phuket) around 10:50am and start mangrove trekking. Next, enjoy a 30 minute canoeing and exploring mangrove eco-system. You will get the opportunity to see long-tail monkeys, walking fishes and some tropical wildlife. We will explore a local fishermen’s houses along the river bank.
We then continue explore rural life of local village and agriculture of Phuket. Visit rubber tree plantation and learn the tapping technique. From here, we visit pineapple farm and try some local snacks made by the villagers.
Around 12:40pm, we arrive at Khao Phra Taeo National Park and start our adventure trekking, one of Thailand's best rainforest which houses the highly meriting Phuket Gibbon Rehabilitation Project. You may see some gibbons and elephants happily tucking in grasses if you are lucky. Enjoy the fresh air here and then move on to the beautiful Ton Sai Waterfall. The pool at the base of this perennial waterfall is great for a dip in the cool water.
Next, we will proceed to Mai Khao Beach for a short break before leaving Phuket. You can relax or simply laze around in the shade of palm trees on the sandy white beach. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant by the waterfall in Phang-Nga province around 3pm.
After lunch, we will depart to a Hotspring Resort. There are 2 pools in the resort with hot spring water, one with Jacuzzi with pool bar and another one is ice cold pool. Chill on a lounge chair or enjoy a delicious coconut drink at the pool bar.
Final stop at Natai Beach to see the sun setting. You can swim in the sea during sunset or take some beautiful photos here. Our driver will transfer you back to your hotel in Phuket around 7pm after being close to nature and an unforgettable peaceful experience.
