When you arrive at San Carlos de Bariloche International Airport, board a shuttle for a shared transfer to the ski resort. Once you’ve been outfitted with skis, poles and boots, you’ll be ready for the slopes of Cerro Catedral. Your four- or six-day lift ticket (depending on which option you choose) takes you across 1,480 acres (600 hectares) of pristine skiing terrain, with 64 miles (103 km) of runs to pick from – 60 percent intermediate level.
Take one of 40 chairlifts, including newer lifts that get you up the mountain in just ten minutes, and soak up the breathtaking views as you float down Cerro Catedral runs like Triple Diente de Caballo. If you’re still skiing in spring, check out Punta Princesa – a great run for all levels. For the advanced skier with a bit more adventure in mind, coast down De la Garganta, Pista Seis and Del Bosque, or carve through backcountry powder terrain amid the amazing forest landscape of Amancay.
Hotel check-in at Village Catedral Spa and Resort starts at 4pm on your first day. After coasting down the slopes, make full use of the resort facilities, such as the fitness room, heated indoor pool, whirlpool, dry sauna, Scottish shower, hydrotherapy and Finnish bath. In the evenings, head out to the nearby plaza with your family or friends, or cook dinner in your fully equipped apartment-style kitchen and enjoy free Wi-Fi, and television. Each morning, dine on a complimentary buffet breakfast at Village Catedral before returning to the mountain slopes.
On your last morning, check out of your accommodation by 10am and enjoy your final day on the slopes. After four or six days (depending on which option you choose) in this skiing paradise, you’ll be transferred by shuttle from the resort to the Bariloche airport in time for your flight.
