This is your chance for double Gorilla tracking, visit two different Gorilla families on the southern sector of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and enjoy stunning views of the Virunga volcanoes and the Albertine rift valley escarpment at Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge.
Day 1 – Arrival Entebbe Airport.
Arrival at Entebbe airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your Nkuringo Walking safari representative, who will then transfer you to Papyrus Guest house.
Day 2 – Fly from Entebbe – Kisoro
An airport transfer will be made to Entebbe airport for your flight to Kisoro with AeroLink. en-route, you will view beautiful landscapes such as mountains, hills with cultivated terraces, tropical rain forest and bamboo forest. Pick up at Kisoro Airstrip and transfer to Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge, with a walking safari and canoe excursion on Lake Mutanda to rendezvous with vehicle at Rubuguri junction to transfer to Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge for an overnight
Day 3 – Gorilla tracking - Nkuringo Gorilla group
Breakfast will be served early in the morning and after you will head for the exciting experience. This will start with a briefing on how you are expected to behave around the gorillas and at 8.00am, you start the tracking. Once you have found the gorillas, you will be able to spend an hour with them. Your time in the forest cannot be pre determined as everyday is different from that previous. On your return to your vehicle you will proceed directly to Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge where hot showers and a bowl of potato soup await you.
Day 4 – Second Gorilla tracking - One of Rushaga Gorilla groups
Its’ 23km from Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge to the visitors reception of tracking Rushaga. Once a briefing will be taken as usual and then you head to the forest for tracking. and you can be assured you that you will a lovely time again with the gorillas. On your return to your vehicle you will proceed directly to Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge where hot showers and a bowl of potato soup await you.
Day 5 – Fly from Kisoro – Entebbe
Early in the morning after breakfast you will transferred to Kisoro Airstrip to depart for Entebbe, the driver will then collect from the airport to your guest house.
Arrival at Entebbe airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your Nkuringo Walking safari representative, who will then transfer you to Papyrus Guest house.
