This 3-Day Yangon and Bago Tour will take you to the holy land of Bago with wonderful Buddhist pagodas. Shwemawdaw Paya, Hintha Gon Paya and many other tourist attractions to satisfy your traveling desire and this is also a great chance for you to experience the history and architecture of Burmese. A real heaven of ancient temples is waiting for you.Day 1: Arrival at Yangon City (Lunch and dinner are included)
Upon arrival at Yagon Airport, you will be picked up by our guide and visit city of Yangon, formerly known as Rangoon, is still a relatively quiet and charming city. We will visit Shwe Taw Myat Zedi, Buddha's Replica Tooth Relic Pagoda, Kaba Aye Pagoda (World Peace Pagoda) built for memorial of the 1954-56 sixth Buddhist Synod, is located on Kaba Aye Pagoda Road, Mayangon Township.
We will then proceed to Mahapasana Guha - "Great Cave", built close to the Kaba Aye Pagoda. After lunch at local restaurant, we will check in at the hotel and take some rest. In the afternoon, we will visit Chaukhtatkyi Reclining Buddha Image: 230 feet (70 m) long in the pose of rest, the original image was built in 1907 and Shwedagon Pagoda: world famous glistening gold stupa towering over the city with spearing to height of 326 feet. Dinner will be served in Karaweik Palace Restaurant watching Myanmar traditional dances. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day 2: Yangon – Bago – Yangon (Breakfast and lunch are included)
After breakfast, our guide will meet you at your hotel and depart to Bago, 50 miles (80 km), approximately 1-hour drive. We visit to Htaukkyant War Cemetery on the way to Bago. People from many countries fought the war in Burma and they are remembered on the many pillars and remembrance stone in the cemetery.
Upon arrival at Bago, our first stop is KyaikkhatWyne Monestery, one of the largest monasteries in Myanmar and you are allowed to scoop the rice for the queuing monks. We will visit Bago Market then take a lunch break at local restaurant. After lunch, continue our trip to Shwethalyaung Reclining Buddha, Shwemawdaw Pagoda, 91 feet (28m) high huge Buddha Image of Kyaikpun Pagoda, Chinese Kwanyin Temple and observing the weaving factory in Mon village to see the way of life.
We will then visit to Kanbawzathardi Palace of King Bayinnaung. Transfer back to Yangon, en-route visit to White Elephant and marble sitting Buddha. Overnight stay at hotel in Yangon.
Day 3: Yangon - Departure (Breakfast and lunch are included)
After breakfast at the hotel,we will depart to Sule Pagoda for sightseeing. You will see many watch-repairers, photo shops and Astrologer Palmist Shop around the Pagoda. You can take some photos at the City Hall and some colonial buildings.
After lunch at local restaurant, we will move to Chinatown, to explore some local shops and café selling variety of local goods and stuff. You can take the opportunity to shop at Bogyoke (Scott's) Market (closed on Monday), which is a great place to pride up traditional and not traditional handicrafts, artworks, small antiques, junk jewellery and other souvenir shops.
After the trip, you will be transferred to Yangon Airport.
