Chef Ha’s warm welcome and relaxed style will ensure you leave with new-learned kitchen skills, terrific recipes and a greater understanding of local food, cooking and culture having been a chef on site for over 6 years.
Day 1
Arrive by 3pm at the lodge for a meet and greet over local cheese and a glass of sparkling wine. Relax and get acquainted in the dining room with floor to ceiling glass windows looking out to the garden. With a back drop of native forest, expect to see kangaroos grazing on site.
Take your time or join the chef to prepare the 3 course dinner in the kitchen. This casual cooking class will include more tasting and some hands-on food preparation. (Optional activities between 3pm and 9pm)

Day 2
The second morning allows you the luxury of a sleep-in. What would a retreat escape be without a great sleep? Wake to the tranquil sounds of wildlife and views of the forest with a backdrop of ocean from your private room. When you rise, join Chef Ha to make fresh dishes for a Yum Cha style brunch with dumplings, vegetable rolls, pork buns, char siew, rice and custard dessert. After brunch, you are free to explore the local attractions at your leisure.
Join the chef as he creates a delicious 4 course dinner menu using local produce, meats and ingredients. The class consists of hands-on cooking demonstration and skill and technique building required for each dish. (Optional activities between 8am-11am and 4pm-9pm)

Day 3
Wake up with homemade cereal, fresh fruits and new coffee brew. Grab a freshly baked croissant or eggs of your choice prepared by the chef. After breakfast you are free to explore local attractions or make your way back to the city. (Optional activities between 8am - 10am)
