Before taking the course, there are some requirements that you need to fulfill. First of all, the minimum age to participate this course is 10 years old, but if you are between 10-14 years old you will qualify for the Junior Open Water Diver certification, after which you can only dive under adult supervision.
Furthermore, you need to take the medical questionnaire to determine if you meet health requirements, and you should be comfortable in the water and in good health. You must be able to swim 200 meters (656 feet) swimming non-stop in any stroke - even lying on your back counts as long as you clear this distance, and be able to float in water too deep to stand for 10 minutes.
During this course, you will complete knowledge development through different techniques, including home and classroom study to understand the basic principles of scuba diving, watching the PADI Open Water Diver videos, browsing through the Open Water Diver manual and completing 5 knowledge review exercises, 4 short quizzes and one final exam (50 multiple choice questions).
You will also need to take 5 confined water dives in our beach front pool to learn and master basic scuba diving skills, and another 4 open water dives to review your skill and explore the underwater world. Rest assured that you will be guided and assisted by professional PADI instructors throughout the course.

Day 2: Classroom theory, pool session and beach dive.
Day 3: 3 Dives at Koh Haa, Koh Rok or Koh Phi Phi.
