Getting in touch with the locals is a good part of this tour. Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho including Lunch

At 07:45, the tour guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel, and depart for the 2-hour journey to the city of My Tho. Arriving in My Tho, you will visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, and cruise by a motorized boat to Tortoise Island to see fish farms, stilt houses and orchards along the way. At Tortoise island, you will enjoy lunch in an orchard.

Then, you cruise to An Khanh and cycle to a bee farm to enjoy authentic honey tea. Taste delicious coconut candy and experience pastoral life as you roam though the orchards and villages. You'll then continue the drive to Can Tho City for your hotel check-in and the night's stay.

Day 2: Can Tho – Cai Rang – Chau Doc including Breakfast and Lunch

After your breakfast, take a boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong River. The boat later takes you to the bustling Cai Rang Floating Market, which is the most original of the region. Have you tried the Vietnamese vermicelli noodles? You will get to see how it is made.

Afterward, you will trek along to the village and get in touch with more of the local people. See and experience how to pass a "Monkey Bridge" which is built by only one bamboo. Visit Can Tho Market and have lunch there. After lunch, your private car will take you straight to Chau Doc, where you will climb up to Sam Mountain to take a look at small villages on the border. Then, you will visit the Cave Pagoda before you get to town and check in at your hotel.

Day 3: Chau Doc – Ho Chi Minh City including Breakfast and Lunch

After your breakfast at the hotel, you take a nice motorized boat trip through the floating village to visit the fish farm and to see how the people in Mekong Delta raise fish on their floating house. Visit the region's Champa with their traditional towel weaving village, have a look at their Muslim temple and the Arabic class for their children.

The boat will return to Chau Doc and your private car will take you to an incense-stick factory for a visit. You'll then return to Can Tho and have lunch there. After lunch, your will be transferred back to Ho Chi Minh City.
