On this 3-day group tour to Sahara desert of Merzouga. you will explore Ait Ben Haddou, Valley of Roses, Dades Valley and Todra Gorge. In the Merzouga Desert you will enjoy camel trek and sleeping in a desert camp. Day 1: Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - Ouarzazate - Skoura - Valley of Roses - Dades Valley - Dades Gorges
Departure from Marrakech at 7.30am am by minibus to the High Atlas mountains to discover the indigenous culture of the Berber people and village life in this spectacular mountain region, then crossing the summit Tizi-n-Tichka high pass (2265 m). After we continue the way to Ait Ben Haddou for lunch which is the most famous Kasbah in Morocco which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. After visiting this formidable Kasbah, we continue to Ouarzazate - the Hollywood city of Morocco known for its international desert location. Skoura is a small desert town created in a beautiful oasis. After, following the beautiful valley of roses to Dades valley and the spectacular mountain and rock formations of Dades Gorge with villages nestled in the mountainside. We stop over in the gorge overnight in a hotel with dinner.
Day 2: Dades Gorges - Tinghir - Todgha Gorges - Tijdada - Erfoud - Rissani - Merzouga - Erg Chebbi
After breakfast we get in our minibus to discover other views on the way and visit the traditional Berber desert frontier town of Tinghir and Todgha Gorges placed in the beautiful palmery. After visiting Todgha Gorge we continue the way towards Merzouga passing by Tinjdad - located in the beginning of oasis where you have lunch. After taking the road of Erfoud, celebrated for its marbles and fossils. Rissani is the old capital of Tafilalet and we continue by the track way towards the desert of Merzouga. Arriving at the bottom of sand dunes you embark on a camel ride to the camp located in the middle of the Erg Chebbi. You arrive for the beautiful desert sunset, dinner and night in the tent
Day 3: Erg Chebbi - Merzouga - Tinghir - Valley of Roses - Ouarzazate - Marrakech
After desert sunrise and breakfast start back to Marrakech by the same route, untill the valley of roses where we have lunch . Then we reach to Ouarzazate and back to Marrakech
