The photography talk will begin early, as you enjoy the drive up Tasmania's stunning east coast.
After lunch we will visit many picture perfect locations in the Bay of Fires region, shooting the intricate orange and yellow lichen on the granite and long sandy beaches. Prepare for your sunrise session by familiarising yourself with the features of the foreshore during the daylight hours, and after a sunset shoot retire to your room for the night.
Day 2 is a full day, and on top of a sunrise and a sunset shoot includes a nice side trip to the cool, green rainforest at St Columba falls. Here, you will photograph the lovely tree ferns and cool, cascades of water - as well as the falls too. You will discuss the role various filters and other accessories can play in rainforest photography and how to achieve the silky smooth effect on the water that is such a rewarding aspect of rainforest photography. Following this session you will enjoy a rural cafe lunch at the Pyengana dairy farm.
