The town of Písek first appeared in written history back in 1243, when its name was mentioned in a royal decree. However, the history of the place it self is much older. Lots of evidence was found that the surrounding area was inhabited by men tens of thousands years before our time.
Than will move to chateu Hluboká where will be waiting for you a guide who is tell you the main about history of the chateu which was founded as a sentry castle in the middle of the 13th century by Bohemian kings, and as a royal property it was often put to pledge. Several noble houses has ruled the Chateau since its construction. After tour will go to village Holašovice which was inscribed on the UNESCO Heritage List in 1998. There will be ready for you an accomodation in lovely guesthouse and take a dinner in local restaurant.
Second day after breakfast (around 9am) will travel to the most beautiful city Český Krumlov where you will have a guide who show you the town and sights specially dominate of city the castle and during a day you will have a lunch in typical czech restaurant and have opportunity to try czech cuisine. After all day tour throught the lovely Český Krumlov will go back to village Holašovice to pension. In the village you can enjoy a romantic horse riding or go to close city České Budějovice where you take a dinner in local restaurant and than explore the city.
Third day after breakfast (around 9am) will move to Rožmberk Castle where you have a tour with local guide. Rožmberk Castle was constructed on the important trade route leading from Bohemia to the rich area of the Upper Danube region. The first German name of Roseberg in firstly mentioned in 1250 during the reign of Vaclav I. After tour you take a lunch and than will travel to Saint Mountain near Příbram. Svatá Hora ( Holy mountain ) near Příbram is an important baroque area, which is formed by a system of cloisters with four chapels in corners. Inside the church you can find a silver wrought main altar, built over the years since 1684, with a gothic statue of Virgin Mary of Svatá Hora. The statue was crowned in 1732 by the auxiliary Bishop of Prague.After all exploring will travel back to Prague where will be around 6:30PM.
