Cenotes are mysterious and beautiful sinkholes, many of which dot the Yucatan landscape. Dos Ojos is a flooded cave system located north of Tulum. The exploration of Dos Ojos began in 1986 and has not stopped. This cenote is a great place to snorkel.
Next explore the 200-meter cave system known as Misterio. This cave cenote was only recently opened to the public. Admire the beautiful stalactites and stalagmites as you walk and swim through this cave.
The last cenote that you will visit is Nikte-Ha. Named after a Mayan princess, the crystal clear water at this cenote is filled with beautiful water lilies.
After spending about an hour at each cenote, you will enjoy a delicious Mexican lunch at a local restaurant in Tulum before being returned to your hotel at approximately 3pm.
